In 1954, Mr. Bill Eliades emigrated from Greece to the United States, where he established a neighborhood tavern called "Mr. Bills." This cozy spot quickly gained popularity among locals, serving as a hub for cashing checks, enjoying games like shuffleboard and darts, and fostering a friendly atmosphere for many local businesses.
Fast forward to 1989, and Mr. Bill's son, Steve, envisioned transforming the tavern into a crab house. With joint efforts, they turned this dream into reality, and the crab house soon became a sensation in the community. As the years passed, the establishment evolved into a full-service seafood restaurant in the 1990s, with its signature crab seasoning that remains unmatched and patented to this very day.
Beyond the delectable crabs and unique seasoning, what set this place apart was the owner's warm presence. Visitors could always find him sitting by the door, personally welcoming each person by name and using an intercom to communicate. He truly was one of a kind, and through his dedication, he built an empire at 200 Eastern Blvd. Today, his legacy lives on through his family, spanning an impressive 68 years and counting!
